Frank Deruytter - Saxophone (BE) Belgian Saxophonist Frank Deruytter is a multitalented musician.

Admired by Jazz aficionados for his unique sound on the Tenor Sax, impeccable technique and unstoppable flow of new and refreshing musical ideas, he is also a gifted vocalist and Bass guitar player. Frank strongly believes in the marriage between Jazz & Funk and critics often compare his style to the way Michael Brecker played.

Frank considers the greatest influences on his personal style to come from some of the world’s greatest in jazz, pop, and rock including Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Charlie Parker, Junior Walker, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Peter Erskine, Michael Brecker, Jan Garbarek, John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Prince, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Police, and many others.

Christophe Devisscher - double bass (BE)
After experimenting with classical music and heavy metal he went on to study bass guitar and double bass with Bart De Nolf at the Jazz Department of the Royal Conservatory of Music, Brussels, graduating in 1998. Christophe also followed workshops and master classes with Salvatore LaRocca, Michel Hatzigeorgiou, John Abercrombie, Enrico Pieranunzi, Charlie Haden and Hein Van de Geyn.

Over the years he has been involved in numerous projects as a sideman, including: Eric Vloeimans, Johan Verminnen, Michel Herr, Lee Konitz, Peter King, Rabih Abou-Khalil, Tony Christie, Joe Lovano, Martin Taylor, Philip Catherine, Duško Gojković, Pierre Van Dormael, Bruno Castellucci, Florian Weber, Guy Barker, Steve Houben, Andy Middleton, Leroy Jones, Jeanfrançois Prins, Rocco Granata and Judy Niemack.

Jens Düppe - drummer (DE)
Jens Düppe is a german drummer and composer. Because of his bouderless interest in music and art in generell he has accumulated and hugh knowledge bright view of many artistic matters. He realizes and initiates connections and collaborations between artists of all kind. He is leading lots of very different projects from improvised jazz music untill performance concepts which include multiple kinds of art as light, dance, literature and even sculpture. Jens Düppe studied with very different kinds of teachers in Weimar (east germany), Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and in N.Y.C.

As a drummer Düppe is grounded in jazz and improvised music Jens Dueppe has absorbed the essence of various musical styles and turned them into an intuitive and authentic way of drumming. Interested in any kind of sound- producing sources, he enriches his performances by self-designed percussion instruments.

Jens Düppe comes from the southern german city Schwäbisch Gmünd. At an early age, his mother which is a curch organ player gave him piano lessons. In 1996 he started studiing Jazz in Weimar, in the eastern part of Germany. From 1998 till 2001he continued his study in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He received a scholarship to study in New York City to get his master degree. Until 2002, Düppe was also a member of the „German Youth Orchestra“, led by famous Peter Herbolzheimer, where he was later engaged as a teacher as well.
