"One of the best albums this year." — Huey Morgan, BBC 6 Music "The most danceable protest record since There’s A Riot Goin' On." — Louder Than War "A deft concoction of spoken rhythms and drastic experimentation, Fold's 'She' is simply immense" — Anthem Review "A lavish concoction of hip-hop, soul, funk, electronics and more." — Clash Magazine In a vein similar to Public Enemy, DJ Shadow and more recently Public Service Broadcasting (a band that Fold have remixed and twice supported) Fold carefully weave both the natural spoken rhythms and eloquence of many voices past and present into a unique tapestry of hip hop, funk, jazz and psychedelic rock threads.

Ranging from Bruce Lee to Malcolm X these voices each reflect on and bring to light certain truths that reveal something of the state of the world from a particular perspective.

Fold recently released their debut LP (Nov 2) to sold out audiences in London and Leeds. The band have been attracting considerable attention from national press and radio. The Guardian called the band "Witty and satisfyingly groove led". Features from the likes of NME, The Times, Drowned in Sound, Louder Than War and Clash Magazine have seen the Leeds four piece unanimously acclaimed as a band that stands out from anything else happening at the moment- "A heady brew of hip hop, funk and soul" Clas Magazine - "Bruce Lee sampling downbeat jazz funk" The Times - "A grand funky number" NME.

Fold were recently interviewed by Dave Rowntree of Blur on XFM who named the band "so interesting, so original" in his top picks of 2014. 2015 saw huge support and considerable air time from BBC 6 Music and the likes of Lauren Laverne, Don Letts, Craig Charles, Gideon Coe and Huey Morgan - "Possibly one of the best album this year" Huey Morgan, BBC 6 Music.

2016 see's Fold looking to build upon their sell out shows in London and Leeds with a full UK promo tour to support their second single release from their apponymous debut album.
