FloodHounds: A fast paced, dynamic, 3-piece Sheffield indie rock n roll band, layered in blues.

Formed in Sheffield in early 2013, their first gig at O2 Academy Sheffield in June was followed by appearances all across the Steel City at venues such as The Leadmill, City Hall and The Bowery. After going down a storm at the Tramlines 2013 Saturday Night slot at The Leadmill.

In July 2013, a debut EP, introducing Motivation, The Fall and Moving Pictures was recorded at Sheffield’s 2Fly Studios with the help of local production legend Alan Smyth, (of early Arctic Monkey’s/Pulp fame) which gained them some airtime on BBC Radio's Introducing Sheffield show.

With influences from wide and far, ranging from classic blues players, British indie to raw American blues-rock, with a sprinkle of acoustic guitars and harmonicas, FloodHounds hit you like a British Black Key’s crossed with The Rolling Stones, fed on a diet rich in Band of Skulls, Jimi Hendrix, The White Stripes, Blur, BRMC, and Kasabian.
