“Dark post punk that expertly evokes the sense of a spectre haunting the room” - Consequence Of Sound
A 5-piece with wildly eclectic tastes, Flashes take influence from 80's pop, 90's grunge and 2000's electronic trickery and have drawn comparisons with everyone from Slowdive to The Cure and Dinosaur Jr.
The band release their new EP 'Enchō' on 24th April.
After locking themselves away for 3 years to concentrate on writing and developing their sound Flashes released their debut album 'Latency' in 2012. This was followed a year later by sophomore album 'Flashes' which received radioplay from Amazing Radio, BBC Radio Cornwall and Radio 1.
The band are currently recording an electronic based EP as a follow up the guitar-heavy 'Enchō', and are aiming for a late summer release. In the meantime they are looking to build on their appearances at last year's Boardmasters and Fascinate Festival by gigging anywhere and everywhere and sharing their noise with as many people as possible.
