A strong need for musical expression through Funk, combined with Rock, Hip Hop and Jazz is what drove these 3 fearless Mexican
musicians to create this band.
This carefully crafted musical blend has provided Fiusha with a unique sound which they have taken on the road to Funk havens like NYC, and has also let them share the stage with Funk masters, such as Screaming Headless Torsos, Groove Collective and the legendary Chaka Khan. André Ménard (Montreal Jazz Festival Director) was quoted saying that he found Fiusha to be "One of the most interesting music projects in the last ten years".
With 1 EP (Fiusha 2005); and 3 LPs (Funkstar-2008, Funk da Power!-2014 and Funk it Loud-2017); Fiusha seeks to continue spreading the word that Funk is alive and growing stronger, not only in Mexico, but throughout the entire world!
