"Brilliant and beautiful." Dean Jackson, BBC Introducing.

Field Studies are an ambient alt-rock band from Nottingham who released their debut EP "Celestial" in January 2014. Having spent the rest of the year working on lots of new material and supporting bands including The Sunshine Underground, Sons and Lovers, Paul Thomas Saunders and Girl Band, the four-piece will release a new EP early 2015.

Supported by BBC Introducing the band have been described as a 'great live band' and have had live performances aired on Notts TV. In the summer of 2014 the band entered the 'Future Sound of Nottingham' competition and went straight through to the final from round one as the judges loved them so much. A play on the Huw Stephens BBC Radio 1 show soon followed. They are now establishing themselves locally and nationally, writing music towards a full-length release.
