Feral Five Short Info

Raised by wolves on a diet of punk rock, disco and roots, electro duo Kat and Drew Five meld punk attitude and biting lyrics with dark pulsing beats.

The Ferals have featured on BBC Radio 6 Recommends, the Steve Lamacq show, Eddy Temple-Morris's The Remix, and on Amazing Radio - the Simon Raymonde show, and Ruth Barnes' The Other Woman, Radio KC, as well as contributing to the soundtrack of drag queens film 'Dressed As A Girl'.

Their remix of deux furieuses' 'Can We Talk About This', featured on Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing Mixtape.

Feral Five are obsessed with science, and write songs about the dark human side of tech, as well as love, lust and madness. New single 'Rule 9' out on 22nd July is a collaboration with New York 3D printing and future materials designer Francis Bitonti. It's #datapop, and uses his sonified algorithms, with the ferals sculpting vocals, synths and beats.

In ā€˜3Dā€™ they predicted #3dprintinghumans, sampled 3D printers, and used one as an instrument when they played Music Tech Fest London.

Feral Five are singer/guitarist Kat, and film composer, bassist and throat-grabbing beats creator Drew. They write, mix and produce at Feral HQ, and have played venues like Sebright Arms, Proud Camden, Amersham Arms, and Dingwalls.

"Blondie meets the Automaton from Metropolis via instant earworm tunes and beats. Feral Five are a techno pop visionary, 3D releasing, disco cyber-punk duo." - Caffy St Luce, Rocklands TV / ArtBeat Festival

"Inspired slice of 'Datapop' " - GigSlutz

"Very Giorgio Moroder with a modern twist" ā€“ Paul Scott-Bates, Hiapop/Louder Than War

"A 3D soundtrack from the consistently boundary pushing art punk minds of Feral Five which actually feels like stepping into the sixth dimension" ā€“ The Zine

"Paranoid electro pop from Feral Five. This is what Delta Five might have sounded like at the cyberpunk disco at the end of the universe" - The VPME
