Saviour | EP | 2014 |
In October 2014 the band released their debut EP ‘Saviour’. Produced by Jay Reynolds (Bipolar Sunshine, Paloma Faith and The Strypes) the tracks have a real immediacy and a 90’s vibe that calls to mind the likes of The Cardigans and The Sugarcubes. ‘Saviour’ received a lot of positive media feedback including being played on XFM and BBC 6Music.
Originally from Russia they met in a bar when the boys chatted up singer Masha Melnikova. By the end of the night they formed a band. After a few visits to the UK to play gigs and falling in love with London and its thriving music scene they decided to move to the city to take on the UK music industry.
In the past several years February opened up for Pete Doherty, One Night Only, Jay-Jay Johanson, The Wombats, British Sea Power and We Have Band. In 2012 the band supported Garbage during their Russian tour.
Raw guitar riffs, powerful synths along with tender female vocals and lyrics - that's what defines music of February.
Later this year the band is planning to release their debut album, also produced by Jay Reynolds.
