False Reality were founded in 1998 in Brasov, Romania, initially playing death metal and doom metal and later evolving through the addition of keyboards, "clean" vocals and progressive rock passages. Just as shadow gives form to the light, so does the doom-laden darkness of death metal shape the melodies of the band's progressive rock.
