Originally formed in Manchester in 2012, their demos caught the attention of John Robb who described them as ‘stunningly original and beautifully odd… if this band is not massive by next Summer then you are all deaf!’.. he described front man Bomar Faery as ‘borderline psychotic and quite definitely genius’ as 48 hours after the bands’ first press feature, on Robb’s ‘Louder Than War’ webzine, Bomar found himself committed to a psychiatric hospital and the band’s future uncertain.
On the day of his release, Bomar returned to Sheffield and reformed the band with Artery’s Murray Fenton, Loveboat’s Dan Botterill, Dodgems’ drummer Michael Breeze and original Manchester member Henrietta Rowlatt.

...A scintillating, shimmering, swathe of sexual-charged swagger pop'
- Mark Radcliffe (BBC 6 Music)

– Jon McClure of Reverend & The Makers (Steve Lamacq’s BBC Radio 6 Roundtable)
...‘I like this’
– Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio)
...‘acidic and grand songs laced with arsenic lyrical wit and melodies full of grandeur’
– John Robb (Louder Than War)
…'An eclectic group that merges the fey eroticism of Pulp with the solid chops of a machismo rock band. Faerground Accidents have managed to forge a distinctive style that’s both enigmatic and direct. And, quite frankly, that I can’t get enough of!'
– Lee Adcock (Dandelion Radio)
