MUELLER // SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1983, lives in Bern, Switzerland.
In 2005 graduates from the teacher-training college in Rorschach.
Since 2005 he works as a pianist and composer for different projects and also as a solo artist (“monolog“, unit records, 2011). He focuses on combining traditional piano with inside piano playing. He received several grants from the cultural department of St. Gallen and Appenzell Ausserrhoden (CH). In 2009 he lived in Berlin to compose for a solo-production, which was recorded in february 2010.
Alongside "FM TRIO" he performs with the "AUGUR ENSEMBLE", the Bernese combo "BOX", as a soloist, in the "SUHNER-MUELLER DUO" and the audiovisual project "APART OF".
With the FM TRIO he released 4 CD’s in the last 5 years. The fourth album „objects & animals“ contains excerpts from 2 live recordings in 2010 by the two German radio stations Deutschlandfunk and Saarländischer Rundfunk and was released on the label bottomrecords. Fabian M. Mueller is teaching piano at the WIAM in Winterthur (CH) since august 2011.
