After the successful CD Something So Sweet and online EP Still, EvenSanne is decisively moving towards the production of a new record.

Fresh material, an original new sound and an extended line up will all melt together into a solid piece of inspiration that will have a meteoric impact on the musical fantasies.

Besides the lively compositions of both vocalist Sanne Huijbregts and guitarist Eran Har Even, this band grabs the attention by creatively using loop-stations which gives the music a multidimensional depth, the by effect-pedals and unique instruments such as the EWI and the xylophone colored sound, and the excellent improvisation by all band members, forthcoming from the jazz tradition.

EvenSanne performed on stages such as the Bimhuis, the Uitmarkt, the Grachtenfestival, Jazzfest and Radio 6, played a tour in Israel and on top of that they won the Incentive prize at the Keep An Eye Jazz Award 2014.

In 5 new tracks EvenSanne presents an exciting new line up that works. A strong guitar-vocal duo that welcomed the experiment with open arms and intentionally avoided the traditional setting. Huijbregts wrote the opening track Still with tender care and effortlessly takes you with her into this new world. Radiohead's Faust Arp takes a step toward a more abstract and electronic sound without losing its warmth, after which Zorn's Tharsis shakes the foundations as they playfully and energetically show that they are in control. Har Even's When Will The Rain Stop? takes you back to the 'simple' but trusted combination of guitar and vocals, to later develop into an overwhelming flood of sounds. Monk's classic Evidence is both old-fashioned swinging as undoubtedly innovative and lends the perfect stage for the leading duo as the esteemed soloists that they are.
