Her father was legendary Lithuanian opera singer Jonas Jocys and she developed in very special environment. From her early years Evelyn started to learn piano in one of the most famous art schools in the world (http://www.cmm.lt/cms/en/). There she’d got profound musical and artistic education that builded very strong foundation for her future’s taste and independence.
After graduating as a professional pianist, Evelyn Joyce felt that has talent to sing. Beside her studies in Vilnius University, her father started teach her vocal techniques and soon Evelyn became a professional singer. She started her singers career in small restaurants and bars, but due to very big talent, artistic and personal education she started to sing in very special events very soon. Evelyn Joyce started to sing in big and important opened and closed venues organized by Lithuanian government, mayors of different cities, closed clubs, various foundations and others. Beside years of her experience, these events gave her an opportunity and certain knowledge of communication with very important people. Also, she started to be known not only as the daughter of a famous and important person, but first – as a singer that is respected due to her talent and performance.

The Evelyn Joyce’s relationship with the scene began in her early years and thru years of education, professional experience and daily life lessons she’d got very special attitude to it. The biggest and the most important – respect to the stage and audience thru professional performance and personal culture. This is the reason of her never ending progress and personal development, seeking of professionalism in everything that she does.

Evelyn’s repertoire is quite big. She sings songs of jazz, blues, pieces from musicals, popular songs of pop and rock. Since she has her individuality, all these songs are made her style.

Evelyn is also the singer and co-author of electronic music project “Monsoon season”. Together with her colleague professional drummer, producer and dj Stepan Bitus she makes live performances around the Europe. This summer project released their second track “Time behind” that is on top’s of Lithuanian and some of European radios.
