Eric Shoves Them In His Pockets is part of the vibrant new Polish music scene, with each of the three members also taking up instruments in other bands (such as Paula&Karol, New People or Queer Resource Center). Having played Poland's most important festivals (Open'er Festival, Off Festival, Spring Break) they are a well established name in Poland, with a growing following in Germany, where they tour festivals and clubs on a regular basis.
In April 2013 they released “Lay Down”, their first EP, followed shortly by the release of their critically acclaimed debut album "Walk It Off” (Thin Man Records, October 2013). Four years later Eric Shoves took a break from touring and sat down to complete their second album. "With Love” was released by Thin Man Records in April 2017. The 90’s american indie vibe is still present in their music, but their style became more prolific and diverse – the garage sound is still present, now along with hip-hop and slacker rock influences. Stories told by Szymon, Hubert and Christoph are now more complete lyrically and melodically. What has not changed is the ease and straightforwardness of their compositions, which can be best described by the band’s own words: “we wanted to play normal music”.
"Each track sounds like some lost, indie classic; perfectly formed and beautifully realized. ‘With Love’ should be the feelgood hit of the summer, and these guys should be your New Favourite Band; they really are that good." - Derek Robertson, Drowned in Sound

"Eric Shoves Them In His Pockets are one of Poland's best-kept indie secrets."
