Formed in late 2012, Glasgow's Enemies of the State take guitar infused indie rock to create a sound which is familiar yet refreshingly unique.

The band’s lyrical content is based on the current political and social climate, revolution, science and love.

In their first year. the band gained widespread critical acclaim for their live performances they headlined King Tut's Wah Wah Hut twice and also played on the main stage of the O2 Academy in Glasgow.

“Enemies of the State unleash their energetic indie rock like a projectile aimed at success”

— Blues Bunny Music Reviews

In 2014 the band released their debut album, Awakening, to positive reviews, which subsequently earned them a support slot with Scottish rock legends, Big Country and an appearance on local TV show, The Riverside Show.

The band have since continued to build on their successes by playing in some Scotland's most loved venues, and 2015 is the year they took on a Scottish tour as well as release two singles from Awakening.

"An explosive sound of volcanic proportions" - Rave Child

"Oozing Class" - Jim Gellatly (XFM)

2016 will see the release of their next EP, Signal Fire and with a planned UK tour.
