Mai 2008 als sich die 5 Gründungsmitglieder der Band das erste Mal, ganz stilecht in der Garage des Gitarristen, trafen. Der frischgebackene Dresdner Dennis hatte im Januar die Idee eine Band zu gründen und nach nur vier Monaten begann der Weg von End of Sanctum.

In den darauf folgenden Jahren wurden Songs geschrieben, geprobt und auch bei dem ein oder anderen Auftritt vorgeführt. Allerdings waren bis zum ersten offiziellen Gig der Band, welche damals noch unter "Descry" bekannt war, bereits 2 der Gründungsmitglieder nicht mehr dabei und wurden durch den aktuellen Lead Gitarristen Martin und den Bassisten Joni ersetzt. Ein Auftritt vor 250 Leuten im Club "Skull Crusher" sollte die erste Bewährungsprobe für die neue Band sein.
Nachdem 2010 der Sänger Albrecht die Band ebenfalls verlassen musste und man so manchen Ersatz versuchte, dauerte es bis ins Jahr 2013 bis der richtige Sänger gefunden wurde. Kurz darauf entschied man sich dazu auch noch einen dritten Gitarristen in die Band zu rufen!

Doch die Jahre der Mitgliedersuche sind gelaufen und so hoffen die 6 Musiker von End of Sanctum auf eine erfolgreiche und lautstarke Zukunft!

It was at the 31st May 2008 as the 5 founding members of End of Sanctum met the first time. The garage of the guitarist was the chosen place to play the first songs. Dennis, who lived in Dresden for only a few weeks, had the idea to start a band in January 2008. Only four months later the path of End of Sanctum began.

In the following years new songs were written, rehearsed and performed on the one or other appearance. Unfortunately two of the members already had to leave the band, which was known as “Descry” at this time. They were substituted by the current lead guitarist Martin and bass player Joni. A gig for 250 people, at the “Skull Crusher” had been the first practical test of the new band.
In 2010 the then vocalist Albrecht also had to leave the band and so they had to search a new singer. This took almost three years and a few different musicians to find the correct. Shortly afterwards a third guitarist was invited to the band.

But now the years of finding members are gone and the 6 musicians are hoping to have a successful and vociferous future.
