Elis Pethke began her studies in music at 18 years old, her first music lessons were in the church, her first instrument was the guitar, Elis was fortunate to be born in a musical home, her father's choir conductor, her grandfather was choral conductor for more than 50 years, her brother Flavio Augusto is a singer Professional Gospel, almost every family is part of the music, Elis Pethke since young was interested in music and mainly saxophone, went to church and was anxious to hear the orchestra play, always with great influence in the Brazilian and American jazz, spent hours listening to music and dreaming of one day being able to play those songs.

She studies music in Brazilian music conservatory in Rio de Janeiro, in the conservatory Villa Lobos She had the opportunity to play in the symphony band conservatory Villa Lobos, played in several orchestras of evangelical churches.
