Clément JANINET : violin Benjamin FLAMENT : vibraphone “ The paradox, often raised, of the vibraphone – a metallic instrument of which the sounds evoke fluidity – played to its full with its association (occasionally implemented) with the violin, which brings together the values of air and fire.

Whether the four elements are in permanent interaction in a long repertoire which brings closer the vivacity of a Fedrico Mompou piece, or the gentle nostalgia of more traditional pieces, such as the cover of Dancers in Love by Duke Ellington or the beautiful compositions of the two performers. Benjamin Flament and Clément Janinet offer an original duo in which the already shown commitment of the first, joins with the joyful and translucent sounds of the second, who knows how to turn his violin to a “roots” style, making it entirely seductive.
