Where Are We Now | EP | 2013 |
Combining the energy and swagger of Rock and Roll combined with infectious hooks and belting anthems, Duke have become one of the house-hold names in Birmingham and most recently London also.
They released their debut E.P “Where Are We Now” in late 2013 which quickly stoked up interest from the continent in Belgium, France and Holland as well as wider spread interest in the UK.
Off the back of their debut E.P Duke found 2014 to be their best year to date and soon found themselves supporting one of their heroes Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene) which has since led Duke becoming main support for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Official Aftershow Party in London this year.
Duke have also had radio play on BBC as well as other platforms across the UK. Their most recent radio review claimed that “Duke are the ones to watch in 2015” as well as being called “Birmingham’s most under-rated songwriters” and “The most exciting band from Birmingham since Ocean Colour Scene”.
Having been recently nominated for the best track at the British Music Awards in which they came respectably second, there is no doubt that the future is bright for these lads.
