This project presents music by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, original compositions and improvisations in the drums-piano setting which was common in the old days and allows the instruments to reveal themselves in ways no longer heard today.
Wim Kegel and Marc van Roon are national and internationally celebrated musicians. They have played at the biggest Jazzfestivals including the North Sea Jazz, Jarasum, Brandenburger, Congo square and Durham. In addition they have played in concert and recorded with big stars like David Liebman, Michael Brecker, Bob and Chuck Findley, Clark Terry and Pat Metheny just to name a view.
