Midlands band “Drop Down Smiling” continue to grow from strength to strength following on from a successful 2014 which saw the band support some of the best UK rock acts on the circuit, names such as “We are the Ocean”, “The Blackout” and “Lost Alone” are among an ever growing list of call ups this midlands band has received.
2014 also marked the year the band were invited onto the BBC introducing stage at the Wychwood Festival and shared poster space with the likes of “Bob Geldof and the Boom Town Rats” and “Newton Faulkner”, but not before opening up for the likes of “Jaws” and chart toppers “Scouting for Girls” at the first ever Big Boro Fest.
After a series of successful shows in Europe the band have announced their first UK headline tour which sees the band take in 7 dates across UK venues in February 2015.
