The news about his life are fragmented and very uncertain, no documents or pictures to witness the period of his youth.
The only certainty is that since a few years this peculiar character of the alternative European scene sets the clubs on fire with DJ sets built with a lethal mix of Balkan beat, Gipsy groove, Russian ska, Tarantella and Latin Patchanka!!! An imaginary trip, sometimes lysergic, along the Urals, the Balkans, the Appennins and the Pyrenees, all across the whole Mediterranean; in two words: World Music, the one you can’t help but dance instantly! Typically, his appearances in the old continent clubs are characterized by an aura of mystery: often announced only a few hours before they begin, there are still people affirming that DJ Pravda isn’t always the same person every time.
However, being he so shy, not used to popularity and not exactly a people person, you can’t really find that much information about him on the web: he doesn’t want any facebook or Myspace profiles, a personal website or even his own public email address! The only way to get in touch with him is to show up at the bars he usually hangs out at: Estragon in Bologna, the Uley Club in Saint Petersburg, the El Mariachi in Barcelona and the O’Cionnagh Pub in Cork.
At the first EP remixes titled: URBAN BALKAN RMX (2012), will follow in the autumn 2015 the new album remix titled NEVER MIND FREE DRINKS.

BALKAN GRILL feat. DJ PRAVDA & IRINA MOSKOWSKAJA
After a European tour of more than 30 shows in the most important European festivals and clubs of world music, finally arrives in Italy the new project, absolutely outstanding, DJ PRAVDA: The BALKAN GRILL. On stage is accompanied by the histrionic DJ IRINA MOSKOWSLAJA , a well-known chef / performer that Italian cooking delicious finger food of the country of origin of the music selected by DJ PRAVDA. A musical and culinary journey in the Mediterranean where the sounds pass from the old continent at the gates of the east, mingling with the flavors and scents of oriental cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine. The delicacies prepared by the chef are offered to the public dancing, and dancing and at the same time teases at a strong pace of world music. During last two years, Balkan Grill has already made stops in the most important Italian clubs and ended in front of thousands of people the major European festivals of world music as Cous Cous Fest, Ariano Folk Festival, Womex (2013), Eurosonic, Europavox, Mercat de Musica Viva (2014).
