Started playin’ his first vinyl in Rimini, Italy during the mid-90s, after the millennium bug he built
his very own personal style of djing and mixing technique, spanning through alternative and
indie/pop charts and performing in the best clubs and festivals such as Bronson & Hana-Bi
(Ravenna), Velvet (Rimini), Vidia (Cesena), Estragon (Bologna), MTV sunset festival (Rimini
Cattolica), Bay Fest (Rimini Bellaria Igea Marina), Santarcangelo dei teatri (Rimini Santarcangelo).
He also produced (2000-2015) two of the best alternative pop events in Italy, “Qualcosina Party”
and “Retropolis retrò clubbing” that both became incredibly popular and sold out almost monthly
the biggest venues in the Rimini area such as Velvet, Beky Bay and Rio Grande, with Lappa always
performing as resident dj.
In 2013 he started his Berlin-based path and played in both Privatclub and Magnet (now Musik &
Frieden), located in Kreuzberg district, and also loved to showcase 100% vinyl djsets in the east
side of the city (Astro Bar and Old Cccp).
Currently he’s moving forward again with a brand new project: "DJ LAPPA ROCKS THE
DISCO!"
A fully-digital live djset experience with the aim to spread the word of contemporary indie
clubbing.
