Founded in early 2009, the musical direction for Disminded quickly showed up: Relentless pushing Death metal, combined with fast, neckbreaking Thrash parts and groovy Core influences, adding some melody to grant a certain recognition value.

After 2 months of Disminded´s existence the first gig already took place and was acclaimed by a enthusiastic audience. In their first year of existence, Disminded shared stage with headliners such as Belphegor or Jack Slater.

The first Demo recordings showed a lack of production and were laughed at instead of being sold but the Band carried on to record and produce new demos to sell them at their shows.

The first and most respective Line-up change took place in early 2011, when Disminded immediately parted ways with their old drummer, eventually replacing him with “Italian stallion” Pippo, formerly known as drummer of “Death by Dawn”, alongside vocalist Martin van Drunen.

Pippo breathed new life into the band and brought his own anarchistic style with him, making Disminded´s sound more dynamic. The first gig in this constellation took place in summer 2011.

In the end of 2012, Disminded went to “Soundranger Studios” in Münster to record their current Demo EP, mixed by “Long Distance Calling” guitarist David Jordan.

The new CD "Out of the ashes" is currently getting mixed by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios.
