Last year four friends from London put their weekend hangovers to good use and started jamming in a sweaty Soho basement.
The results brought the ecstatic cry of a Spanish language televnovela hunk to their lips, and gave them the name of their band.
Debut single, 'Stories' was championed by Radio 1 and XFM (Danielle Perry's Record of the Week), DIY, The 405, NME and The Line of Best Fit, with an emotional Made in Chelsea feature thrown in for good measure.
