In the last 5 years, they have dominated the charts with their multi-platinum “Canção ao Lado” and “Dois Selos e um Carimbo”. They have also won a plethora of awards, including 3 Golden Globes, an Amália Rodrigues Award, a José Afonso Award and a Songlines Music Award.

Deolinda have once again taken to the road to promote “Mundo Pequenino", this time accompanied by Sérgio Nascimento on percussion. “Mundo Pequenino” was recorded at Boomstudios, in Vila Nova de Gaia, and produced by the award-winning British producer Jerry Boys and the band itself.

In the album text, the journalist João Gobern has this to say about “Mundo Pequenino”: ´If we were thinking in somewhat different terms, we would say that Deolinda are following the most modern and boldest of economic theories, and not just the translated primers brought in from elsewhere: in times of crisis, they invest.
