Formed in 2010 the Kiwi ex-pats Ruth & Kane Power, released 2 EP’s (‘We Will Implode’ - 2011, ‘Pluck’ - 2013) and toured exhaustively until a brief hiatus at the end of 2013.

Death In Texas retreated to their home studio, writing and producing the music that would become their first album. ‘Pause Between Breaths’ (Mixed By Eduardo De La Paz - The National, Arcade Fire, The Horrors) is a clear graduation from their former sound and approach.

From post-rock to trip-hop and everything in between, the duo manage to combine their eclectic influences to create a compelling experience. Atmospheric and ambitious, Death In Texas thrive on provoking emotion and pulling the listener into a full immersive experience.
