Dead Slow Hoot - Est.

MMXIII

Melancholic anthemic bittersweet alt-rock.

Rising Sheffield band Dead Slow Hoot released their first single 'Horsin' Around' in February 2015, which they followed up with a string of high energy live shows in some of the best known music venues in South Yorkshire such as the Leadmill, the Harley and Queen's Social Club described by Counterfeit Magazine as 'A flawless set where each of the songs were performed incredibly'.

Their local reputation has moved from strength to strength, culminating in a memorable set opening the Sunday on the Leadmill stage at Tramlines Festival 2015, playing alongside Kid Wave, Stealing Sheep and Billy Bragg.

Now following up the success of their first release with a 6 track EP, Dead Slow Hoot have combined their brand of poetic lyricism and creamy guitar sounds with a sober and honest awareness of current affairs to produce a rousing record that will make you dance, think and cry in that order.
