Form¬ed in November 2016, is a British Indie/Rock band from Lancashire, in the North West of England.

In the beginning of 2017, they released their Debut EP, ‘Self Titled’, which included their first single ‘Hey To The River’. Deacon Brody has performed at a sold out Deaf Institute, Manchester and Headrow House, Leeds in the summer of 2017. In October 2017 Deacon Brody performed their fist debut Headline show at Manchester Club Academy to a sold out crowd. December 2017 they performed at Night and Day Café Manchester. In January 2018, Deacon Brody released their second EP ‘VOL II’, at their Manchester show at Academy 3. This included the single ‘REPAIR’ recorded by Matt Heap at Suff Studios. ‘REPAIR’ has been played on BBC INTRODUCING with Sean McGinty, quoted: “Big, Loud punk-rock. They’re summer festival ready”. Composed of Jayke Cox (guitar, lead vocals), Joe McManus (bass, vocals) and Danny Loftus (drums, vocals).
2018 kicked off with playing in front of 1000 people at the sold out Manchester Academy 2 alongside indie/rock band ‘King No-One’ for SJM Concerts.
A string of headline shows followed with appearances in Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.
At the end of 2018 DB were placed in INDIE WEEK UK and came 2nd in the whole UK.
Recently DB have took back to the studio to record their next DEMO/EP for next year 2019 along with their new sound and live performance.

Deacon Brody proved that sometimes, big sounds can come in deceptively little packages. Despite being a three-piece, the punk rockers delivered an explosive set filled with undeniably catchy choruses and folk-tinged, festival-ready melodies that managed to bring a little of the sunny summer evening from outside to right on stage.
