Day Old Hate is a British alternative rock band from Leeds, UK formed in 2012.

After taking time to refine their sound and build on the experience of working with producers Dan Lancaster (Don Broco, Lower Than Atlantis, Mallory Knox) and Dan Mizen (Twin Atlantic, Bring Me The Horizon) they have become one of UK’s new band set to break.

January 2015 the band released their debut music video ‘Tides”, which was premiered as BBC Introducing track of the week in February, resulting in daily airplay on BBC Radio 1. The band followed up with their first UK headlining tour in April 2015 and the release of their second music video and single ‘Living Without You’. Both singles gained positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The success from the band’s touring and single releases led them to perform at the multi-award winning Y Not Festival in August 2015.

In late 2015 the band entered Long Wave Studio in Cardiff, Wales to record their new EP with acclaimed rock producer, Romesh Dodangoda (Kids in Glass Houses, Funeral For A Friend, Motorhead).

The new EP is due for release in early 2016.
