Life is ugly, life is beautiful and so is the music that expresses it. Dark sounds and pure melodies, angel-like and brutal. The musicians born in the 60's, 70's and 80's are influenced by different styles; jazz, rock and avant-garde. In Spring 2013 David’s Angels released their second album “What it Seems” on the Swedish label Kopasetic Productions, followed by a release-tour. “What it Seems” was very well received by both audience and reviewers. In the major Swedish newspaper DN, Johannes Cornell writes in his rewiew of the CD that David’s Angels is trendsetting in European jazz today.
David’s Angels continue their succesful touring in 2015, latest at the Nordic Embassy in Berlin and at an international showcase in Munich representing Swedish Jazz. Summer 2014 the band did a very well received tour in the US and Canada, playing the highly respected jazz festivals of Vancouver, Rochester and Ottawa. In April 2016 the band will feature Ingrid Jensen as a special guest.
