Influenced by artists such as Steve Moore, Aphex Twin, Vitalic, Collège, etc. and heavily shaped by Berlin techno of the 90s and American pop-culture of the 80s, Das Mörtal’s sound has a darkness to it, a brooding heaviness that help transcend the romantic notions of nostalgia already set in motion.

2014 was a busy year for Das Mörtal as he composed and released an original motion picture soundtrack for a short film ("Naissance d’un Zombie") and the mini-EP "Hotline Miami II" which was issued by Montreal imprint Lisbon Lux Records. He also released his very first music video: "La Pussy". Released on Halloween, the clip received lots of attention on social media and music blogs.

His new EP, "Never Forgotten", reveals a recent penchant for techno by the artist - who is set to unveil tour dates for Europe in 2015.
