While the band has learned a lot from its forerunners, the band are secure in their own musical style. Darling Don’t Dance revel in dissonant noise textures, and aren’t afraid to showcase a beautiful melody either – a combination that defines the compositional style of their new album 'Pediophobia'. ‘Pediophobia’ (April 7th, 2017) has already been named as "a masterpiece”, “a powerfull comeback” and “a unique and brave album" by the Danish music magazines, reviewers and radio hosts. The well known UK music blog The Line Of Best Fit (UK) was impressed by Darling Don’t Dance at this year’s SPOT Festival (DK): "Darling Don’t Dance delivered a heavy set similar in tone to acts like Kinski and Sonic Youth, turning to noise and feedback at any opportunity. While known in Denmark for some time, this exhilarating set in front of international delegates opens up the prospect of tours and success beyond Danish borders." Darling Don’t Dance started off touring both New York City and Europa from 2007-2013 releasing 'Bare Frames' (2009) and ‘City Ghosts’ (2012).
