Currently based in Sheffield, Patrick McMahon has been producing an eclectic range of music under the artist name Da Rico for several years, drawing from such styles as hip hop, jazz, funk, dub and more.
Although his performances have mostly been DJ slots up to this point, Patrick is keen to incorporate live playing into his shows, particularly in having live jazz played over funky, hip hop grooves. As a result of his interest in a wide range of music, a Da Rico set can vary in style each time, from laid-back jazz grooves to dance genres such as garage and jungle. An adaptable and open-minded musician, Patrick is keen to share and perform music with all kinds of audiences, and to continue producing the tracks which his fans enjoy so much.
