After fronting bands for several years, Craig’s motivation for pursuing a solo career was largely influenced by his love of Bob Dylan. His musical inspiration comes from American and English blues and folk music as well as from popular alternative British bands such as The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian and The La’s. Combining a variety of genres, his insightful and poetic lyrics sit on top of driving, upbeat acoustic guitar rhythms often accompanied by his harmonica playing.

After signing with Sound-Hub Records in early 2014, Craig went into the studio to record his debut single along with three other tracks. On the 24th January 2015, ‘If You Knew’ was released with an accompanying music video. The track has received some excellent reviews and has been played on local and national radio including airtime on BBC Introducing both in Merseyside and Coventry and Warwickshire.
