Colo started when Ben Corr and Nick Smith recorded their first song in the middle of the Canadian Rockies using a train and microphone.
After moving back to London they released their first EP, Midday Sun (Take Records), before locking themselves away in the studio for over a year to write their debut album, "UR", which was released in March 2014 on Ki Records.
Colo's sound has progressed from their early downtempo beats to full vocal-led songs with real depth and variation. The juxtaposition of acoustic percussion with once cutting-edge synthesisers and effects makes for a uniquely personal listen, crafted without samples or shortcuts.
