The fiercely talented multi-instrumentalist is drawing upon a great wealth of experience from many different styles and influences. Questioning traditional concepts of religion, church and spirituality, Claudia’s most recent project is telling stories about love and dreams, fears and hopes, sins and sinners, preachers and prayers, but most of all - about a life worth living.
Born and raised in Tyrol, Claudia was classically trained at the University ‘Mozarteum’ in Innsbruck, where she developed and shaped her technical skills on violin and guitar. Her path then took her to London where she learned to define and embrace her voice, her sound and her musical identity as a singer, composer and songwriter. While successfully earning her degree from the University of Westminster, she independently released two Solo EPs, gained airplay on BBC radio, co-founded the artist collective “Artists in Union” and honed her skill and independent style of improvisation as a singer and violinist. Claudia always strives to further explore her musical horizon, leading her to work in a range of styles, from classical music to trip-hop, acoustic pop, modern folk music, traditional irish folk, blues, bluegrass, and many more.
Widely recognised as a skilled instrumentalist and energetic and versatile performer. Claudia has now returned to her home country and settled in Vienna, where she became part of the international songwriters collective ‘Vienna Songwriting Circle’. Her authentic and open approach and genuine love and passion for music make her an uttlerly captivating and compelling performer with the ability to completely draw you in, into the world of musical mysteries and stories untold.
Collaborations include: Hannah White Music, Marco Mestichella, Joe Rodwell, Shane Ò Fearghail, Stuart Neville, David Haselwanter, Keiron Marshall, Noel Cowley, Sunil Tailor, Storm Mollison, Marie-Theres Fehringer, Julia Erharter, Alicia Edelweiss, Chris Uboh, Tiroler Landesjugendorchester…
