There was much scribbling on a piece of paper but after a while there was a song and it was called Cry wolf. Some years on Claire Jordan still sits in her room and writes songs though now they're sometimes written using her lovely Taylor guitar. Her songs tell stories about life, the universe and everything or at least that's what she'd like to think. She says her style is folk because she can't think of any other genre and Northern Musings on Life isn't really a thing. Lots of people have said they'd like her to sing them to sleep. She's played many places in Manchester, pubs and clubs alike and would play to an empty room if asked to or if nobody turned up to hear her play because she was first act of the night (this may or may not have happened on more than one occasion). Sit back, relax, download and enjoy; you may like what you hear you may not but it's worth a shot.
