Welcome to Nothing | EP | 2015 | |
16 hours in almost Poland | EP | 2014 |
In April 2013 the band was originally formed by MJ Beeghley as a duo in Seoul, Korea. MJ then relocated to Hamburg, Germany in October 2013.
In July 2014, Paul Wrettom (drums) joined the band. Only seven weeks pass and on September 20th, CSG record their 1st full five track EP "16 Hours in Almost Poland" at PPVI Studios in Görlitz. The EP was released on November 7th. The Producer, Chris Wosimski, a close friend of Paul, is made the 3rd member of the band in March 2015.
In the meantime CSG performed around Hamburg, notably at venues on the famous Reeperbahn.
Certain Scary Ghost released their follow up EP in 2015 as a trio with Wosimski called "Welcome to Nothing".
The band reformed in 2019 in Brussels, Belgium with Mike Murray on drums, and for the first time ever the band is made up of two Americans. The band is continuing to develop new material and plans on announcing new recordings releases and touring schedules for 2020.
