Cemetery Junction are a rock'n'roll band armed with an obsession for loud guitars and raucous tunes.

Taking their influences from the classic Brit Rock of the early 90s and the vintage Brit Rock of the 60s, they make guitar music to dance to.

"Rock'n'roll anthems to get the party started"
- Neil Jones Rock Show, Star FM

Like most conceptions, theirs took place in a bed. Guitarist Leon broke his back while mountain biking as a kid. Confined to his bed for some time, he decided to learn to play the guitar and convinced his best mate Tom to buy a bass. The duo realised a band needs a singer. Toby stepped in, bringing drummer Craig with him. The foursome learned a set of covers and played every pub that would have them. 200 gigs later they'd written a bunch of their own songs, which grew in popularity in pubs across Cambridgeshire.

"We feel that musicians should rebel against conformist, safe options, like it used to. Of course, we're not trying to turn back the clock to "the good old days", whenever they were, but to me it seems that a couple of generations ago music meant more to people, and musicians were pushing the agenda. To me, the modern kind of well branded, corporate friendly popstar is the wrong role model."

Wise words from a young bunch of musos who name check as their heroes Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Oasis, none of whom were known for turning up at the opening of an envelope to pose for photos with the marketing team.

“Very well produced, reminds me of The Enemy/ early Oasis”
-Matt Fincham, Producer of the BBC radio 1 breakfast show

"full of the rage that once made Kasabian a fantastic musical prospect"
-Ciarán Steward, We Close Tonight Reviews

Cemetery Junction are releasing a string of singles in 2014. The first, titled "Eighteen" is out on The Animal Farm on the 3rd of March.
