Capibara is a four-piece born in Diest, Belgium.
They bring you slacker rock with a heart for the 90's. Catchy guitarriffs en choruses combined with louder grunge and garagerock parts make for a varied, unique and full sound.
The band released their first EP, 'Summer Slacks' in april 2017. The EP contains four songs and received a lot of attention from Belgian independent media. Cutting Edge labeled them 'The War on Drugs meets Weezer'.
In 2017 the band played about 25 shows in Belgium, Holland and France. The spring of 2018 will bring more new material, a first EU tour and many more shows.
