Their incandescent, melodic songs take the intimate heartbreak of Elliott Smith and embellish with golden harmonies borrowed from The Beach Boys mixed with subtle hints of their personal love for post-rock and the mid 90’s emo scene. At times getting you up off your chairs in a passionate rage, at others just to dance but always filled with hope.
Since the release of their first single ‘Nothing Nowhere Never Now’, they have received continued support from the likes of Adam Walton (BBC Wales) and various other Radio Dj's, podcasts and online music media outlets specialising in new music.
That song is now one of two tracks from the 2017 released 'Wellbeing EP' selected for the A-list by BBC Radio Wales resulting in continued airplay, a live session with Janice Long and further BBC 6 music plays. Last year the band were invited to play at the highly acclaimed 'Festival Number 6' and industry festival 'Zandari Festa' in South Korea, Where they performed 4 shows including a headline performance representing the Welsh Music scene and to promote their upcoming releases in 2018. This year Campfire Social were chosen as part of the BBC Horizons 12 project.
