One o’ them riffy spiffy jiffy jobs. Init cha. 🤝
'One of the best out there in unsigned modern rock music' - BBC Introducing
'Their music highlights the band’s knack for bouncing rock music complete with gnarly riffs, driving percussion and impassioned vocals that seem so effortless, certainly the ones to watch in the rock space' - RGM Press
'Something a little different, some huge, explosive guitar riffs complete with rasping vocals fired from the Main Stage, they are hugely impressive' - Sonic Bandwagon
Arriving on the scene in July 2017, Building Giants soon attracted a loyal fanbase in the North, and a decent online following with their debut EP 'Frontier' through playing shows across North West venues and radio stations.
After their 3rd music video notched over 25,000 views on social media, by the beginning of 2019 Building Giants were in a position to embark on their 1st UK tour of the same name. The 'Talk of the Town Tour' saw the band go from lively performances in front of bar staff, to blood pumping exhilaration in front of a dedicated following at independent venues across the country.
The tour carved the pathway to appearances at high profile festivals including Kendal Calling, Camden Rocks and Highest Point, and was soon followed by their 4th music video, ‘Trapped Inside’ which aims to raise awareness of mental health issues. After another jam packed summer of festival appearances BG completed their second tour, going bigger and better, touching every corner of the UK and performing at iconic venues including O2 Academy Islington, Brickyard (Carlisle), 53 Degrees (Preston) and Bannermans (Edinburgh).
The band have used the pandemic as an opportunity to take a step back, recalibrate, modernise and totally transform their sound, with a whole host of new noises coming to the masses in 2021.
