Buddhist Punkz emergered when Marcel Atteen [aka MC Sirreal] met brothers Dave and Rich Budgen whilst preforming together in UK breakbeat act The Freestylers. The three have a common interest in old skool hip hop, rock and metal and soon started talking about the idea of forming their own band in that vein.

Enlisting the skills of drummer Jack Cowens (Dub Pistols) the fusion of the four quickly produced an albums worth of thumping metal laced tracks; filled out with aggressive pictorial lyrics.

Their track 'Army Girl' features in the drugged up slasher movie Rock n Roll Fuck n Lovely and the bands first single 'No Shame' was released as a free download at the beginning of 2014. The guys are set to release their debut EP 'No morals no Scruples....' soon and are currently getting together their debut album 'No Shame'
Their energetic live shows are not to be missed so keep your eyes and ears open as Buddhist PunkZ are set to be destroying a venue near you soon!!!
