Their music blends traditional folk music, with an epic contemporary edge reminiscent of First Aid Kit and Of Monsters and Men. Building on three years of success as an unsigned artist, with three releases and two UK-wide tours to their name, they have recently made the next big step in their career and agreed a record deal with Sound-Hub Records for their first signed release - due Spring 2015. This band is on a meteoric rise on the back of packed out shows and excellent reviews from across the unsigned music scene.

Their festival experience is extensive, with the band taking to the stage at festivals of all shapes and sizes over the past three years, from student-ran mini-festivals in York to the enormous Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park (2012)! Brave New Storm thrill crowds with their engaging stage presence, plethora of instruments and sounds, and their unique brand of carefully crafted, catchy and easy-listening music.

Formed in 2012, Brave New Storm quickly established themselves as an emerging talent by wining the 2012 Tuborg King of The Stage competition. Their songs have gained airplay on national BBC radio stations, with Guardian music pundits and many others highly praising their newest release - So We Leave EP.
