Boxtape are Kat Ward (vocals, guitar, synth) and Kieren Johnstone (guitar, vocals)
These two Horsham musicians have been writing music together for many years but Boxtape was born in 2016 when an urge to simplify their live show took them down an unexpected musical path.
As an indie folk duo, their music is atmospheric, touching, unpredictable and intriguing.
Releasing their debut single "Fancy Objects" in December 2016 the pair quickly appeared on the local Sussex scene playing all round the south of the UK, with multiple gigs and festival appearances including Red Roar, Dart Music & AEFES following suit.
Alongside this the pair started their own Youtube channel and series which so far has over 14,000 views, with no sign of slowing down, Boxtape are only on the way up.
