Standby planet earth; Bon Voyage are back with the follow up to their mammoth debut ‘Booshie’.

Led by the enigmatic Shamon Cassette, Bon Voyage is the unlikely marriage of the forward-thinking Brooklyn rapper with two young producers from the dentally-challenged Dublin suburb of Finglas; The Supreme and Fono.

‘Don’t Tread On Me’ sees Bon Voyage deliver a deep and dirty tech house juggernaut, which whilst it’s certainly more of a club-focused affair than their debut; it’s by no means any less catchy.

Bon Voyage follow their brilliant debut single 'Booshie' with a peak-time club banger in ‘Don’t Tread On Me’

The track premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show
Afro Punk premiered the track stream on Wed the 6th of January

BBC Radio 1: Big support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Huw Stephens,
Phil Taggart and Toddla T
BBC Radio 1xtra: Support from Monki, Mistajam, Toddla T, 1Xtra’s Rewind
Complex: ‘A brilliantly twisted and sleazy take on Hip House’
Clash: ‘an infectious debut single’
Earmilk: ‘Utterly spectacular’

The cut once again harbors their utterly infectious take on the hip-house genre, superbly straddling the hairy crevasses between house, techno and hip-hop.
