The "Guar Metal" band from Paraguay, BLASPHEMER.PY was formed in Asunción, Paraguay in October of 2011 by Hugo Adrián González and Luis Battilana. The intention of the band is to capture the paraguayan history in the official language of Paraguay and with the style of heavy metal introduce the guaraní culture to the headbanger audience from other regions, from a different perspective than traditional (folk music).

About ARASUNU

Arasunu is a concept album, talking mostly about the walking, and pass over the needs of the paraguayan soldier during the bloody wars suffered by Paraguay since its inception. These stories are narrated entirely in Guarani, language spoken by more than 95% of paraguayans.

The idea of recording an album entirely in the original language, guarani comes from a great diversity of musical styles from different countries, and because of the rise of rock and metal in our country, the band wanted to create something new, innovative, combining what they like (the metal), with the rich language that represent the paraguayans.

It wants to show that the guarani may also have an important weight in the heavy rock or heavy metal, and that it can be exportable. Arasunu creation was a huge challenge between the members of the band, which today is a great pride and a cultural issue that would be recognized at national level first, and then internationally.

The album ARASUNU was recorded entirely in Mar Estudio; the production of the record was performed independently by the band, with the artistic production of Hugo Adrián González and Luis Santa Cruz and the co-production, mixing and mastering, Legna Zeg.
