Beyond Grace - Death Metal Progressive Metal Live Act in Nottingham

Beyond Grace Short Info

Architects of Omni-Dimensional Death Metal Devastation... Beyond Grace play progressive, technical music for progressive technical people.

With their debut EP 'Monstrous' receiving a host of fantastic reviews, including enviable comparisons to everyone from Obscura and The Faceless to Death and Atheist, the band's signature blend of massive, megaton riffs, laser-guided drums, sinuous bass-lines, and blast-furnace vocals - all underpinned by a layer of cerebral melody and twisted technicality - is the sound of the future and the past colliding in a war of mutual annihilation.

Touring with cult favourites such as Becoming The Archetype, Awakening Sun, and The Monolith Deathcult under their collective belt - as well as numerous headline shows and self-funded tours - have allowed the band to develop into a precision Death Metal machine, crushing audiences across the country with their unique mixture of metallic power and progressive melody.

With their debut album 'Seekers' currently being recorded (a preview of which can be via the recently released 'Omega Point' single) the Nottingham-based quartet have finally perfected their version of the deathly arts, and look set to make a major impact in 2015/2016.

PRESS:

"Technical riffs, blastbeats, and scalding vocals, this is death metal redesigned and redefined" - Terrorizer

"jabbing, jamming riffs, serpentine melodies, sparkling solos, and an enveloping atmosphere of alien menace... like Spawn of Possession with more convulsive grooves, or Blotted Science with unexpected digressions and more sharp teeth, or The Black Dahlia Murder with an added progressive bent." - NoCleanSinging

"Beyond Grace are in the business of death metal. Progressive death metal to be precise, [flirting] with the kind of fiddly tech riffage peddled by The Faceless and Obscura... I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the more musically sophisticated side of death metal!" - Blog of Putrefaction

""Beyond Grace is not just about violence. Over the course of these 3 tracks you'll find interesting, progressive phrases that reference bands like Death and Spawn of Possession, [evolving] into a kaleidoscopic explosion of sounds in the vein of old school Cynic / Atheist" - The Pit of the Damned

"[Monstrous] addresses the concerns of a planet controlled by the few and populated by apathy... The guitars are hard, the drummer constantly changes times and the vocals are brutal and harsh but easy to absorb. The subject matter may be ominous but the tracks are energetic and fast, great party music for all world-infecting layabouts out there." - Metal-Temple.com

"From the first moments of the opening track it’s obvious that this lot don’t care much for fitting in to the preconceived notions of either the current UK death scene or mainstream extreme metal... this is a gripping, memorable release, proving, to these ears at least, that you don’t have to ditch any sense of melody and/or hooks to keep up with the pace of modern heaviness." - Valkyrian Music
