Bent is an all around artist who’s known for being involved in fashion projects, literature, art, television shows etc.

In 2013 Bent’s first solo album “Round the Bend” first got shape walking through the streets of Paris, where new melodies and personal lyrics got written. 

When the private club Silencio (David Lynch) opened in Paris, the whole project gained momentum. Bent is still organizing cultural evenings and playing live shows at the club Silencio.



The album was recorded in Los Angeles, in the studio of Jason Falkner (Jellyfish, Air,Paul McCartney and Daniel Johnston). His first solo album is a bittersweet nostalgia to the unknown, a fundamental desire for the moment, to the road, eagerly looking forward to everything behind the bend. And it has Bent Van Looys personal stamp.

Bent Van Looy is currently working on his second solo album, that will be released by the end of the year.

- received the award as Best Dressed Man 2014 (TrendStyle)
- he did the voice over of the famous Paddington bear in the new movie “Paddington”
- compiler of “The Original Soundtrack - The French Edition by Bent Van Looy” by Klara (classical radio station) and will repeat this with a focus on UK music.
